During our family stay at Mercure, we found the hotel to be conveniently located in the heart of Cologne's vibrant old town. While the decor may lean towards the traditional side, the welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service overshadow any cosmetic concerns. The room provided all the necessary comforts, and the complimentary drinks in the fridge were a pleasant surprise. Exploring the neighborhood, we stumbled upon beautiful hiking trails nearby, adding an adventurous touch to our city break. In the evenings, we enjoyed strolls along the quaint streets lined with local bars and restaurants, immersing ourselves in the lively ambiance of Cologne.The family-friendly amenities, including the cozy rooms and helpful staff, made our stay memorable. And while we opted to dine outside, the breakfast buffet and hotel honey are sure to delight. For families seeking a central location with a touch of adventure, Mercure is a solid choice.
